Transport supports are given to those participants who find difficulty travelling on their own without any assistance. The team at Fortis Care provides complete transport support to participants to ensure that they have the capacity to travel independently and safely with the right equipment and travel assistance. Transport supports mostly include personal transport-related aids and equipment. We also train participants to use public transport so that they can travel freely.

For those participants who are not able to travel independently, their transport support costs can include the reasonable and necessary costs of taxis or other private transport options.

Transport supports are only applicable to participants and cannot be applied to travel for families, carers, or providers of support.
